Chartered Building Surveyor - Fareham, Hampshire

With two offices in the South of England, our client is a multi-disciplinary consultancy offering a high standard of general practice, building surveying and architectural services.

Operating from a Grade II listed Manor House, this friendly, independent company of professionals can offer a wide variety of project and professional work across the South East.

In line with continued growth they are now recruiting for a Chartered Building Surveyor for their Fareham office, Hampshire.

Person Specification:

• The successful applicant will hold a RICS accredited degree in Building Surveying or similar technical discipline
• You will be Chartered, MRICS
• You will ideally hold 2-5 years post qualification experience although newly qualified Surveyors would also be considered
• You will be ambitious and motivated
• You will have good communication skills, you will be competent and willing to learn
• You will be Comfortable networking and able to win business
• You will be able to work with a level of independence

Roles & Responsibilities:

Offering a broad range of services covering all aspects of domestic and commercial surveying, you will have varied responsibilities, to include: –

• Production of measured building surveys
• Building surveys
• Preparation of Schedules of dilapidation, specifications and schedules of work
• Defect analysis/Building pathology
• Contract administration/project co-ordination
• Building reinstatement valuations
• Party wall awards
• Client liaison

Salary & Package:

Our client is offering a salary of up to £45,000 + car allowance dependent on experience.
