Unique opportunity to develop a Building Surveying division within a well-established property management company. Working closely with the Directors you will be an integral part of the team and management structure, developing and growing an in-house Building Surveying service within a longstanding property management portfolio.

Person Specification: Chartered Building Surveyor

• MRICS – Chartered Building Surveyor
• 2 years + post qualification experience
• Broad experience across the residential sector
• Design capability with AutoCAD preferable

​Roles & Responsibilities: Chartered Building Surveyor

• Home surveys
• Dilapidations (including the negotiation stage and Party Wall Work)
• Undertake preparation of specifications and contract administration work
• Act as principal designer under CDM 2015 regulations
• Undertake defect investigation reports
• Undertake local authority applications and approval, including to Heritage properties
• Act as building owner’s and adjoining owner’s surveyor in regards to party wall matters
• Undertake and assist with insurance reinstatement cost assessments
• Mentor/act as counsellor for junior staff

Salary & Package: Chartered Building Surveyor
