Chartered Building Surveyor – Surrey

Our client is a well established firm of Building Surveyors that has grown steadily throughout the recession. This robust business can attribute its success to a broad client base, including; private property companies, local authorities & housing associations, the NHS and Schools.

They have a proven progress plan within this practice with candidates having joined as juniors and progressing through to Associates and then Directors. There is no glass ceiling for skills Surveyors.

With a strong staff retention record, their team of Surveyors provides traditional building surveying services and they are currently searching for a Building Surveyor for their Surrey offices.

Person specification:
The successful applicant will be a Chartered Building Surveyor with a varied experience across some or all of the practices business sectors.

They will be driven towards success and searching for an opportunity in which to really grow and develop their experience.

– Good knowledge of building regulations and other statutory requirements
– The ability to work individually and as part of a team
– Be comfortable liaising with client and colleagues
– General Building Surveying experience to an experienced level

Role & Responsibilities:
The successful applicant will across some or all of the following areas:

– Carry out surveys for defect analysis and specifications
– Contract admin
– Dilapidations
– Party wall work
– Specification
– Tendering
– Contract administration for repair, maintenance, extensions and alterations
