This independent multi-disciplinary consultancy has an opening for an experienced Graduate Building Surveyor. They offer a full range of work within a strong and diverse multi-disciplinary team, along with a 1st class APC program with a strong track record. They offer a flexible environment with real opportunities to progress beyond Chartership.

Person Specification: Experienced Graduate Building Surveyor

• Degree qualification or equivalent in Building Surveying
• Minimum 6 months practical post-graduate experience
• A strong work ethic
• The desire to progress with their APC and become Chartered

Roles and Responsibilities: Experienced Graduate Building Surveyor

You will be gain exposure to all aspects of Building Surveying. Duties include but are not limited to:

• Assist in undertaking measured and residential and commercial building surveys.
• Help in the preparation of existing and proposed plans.
• Preparing and submitting planning and building regulation applications.
• Assist in preparing Schedules of Condition and Awards for Party Wall matters.
• Write specifications and prepare tender and contract documentation.
• Assist in the role of Contract Administrator.
• Attend and chair project progress meetings and prepare minutes and progress reports.
• Analyse tenders and prepare tender reports.
• Assist undertaking dilapidation surveys and prepare Scott schedules.
• Assist with defect analysis surveys and preparing reports.
• Assisting with Licences to Alter.

Salary & Package: Experienced Graduate Building Surveyor

Our client is offering a salary between £33,000 –  £40,000 dependent on experience and background, plus the following package: –
