From the refurbishment of modern research laboratories through to the refit of listed office buildings, we have an exciting new opportunity for an Experienced Graduate Building Surveyor with strong PM experience. Brighton, East Sussex.

The University of Sussex is a leading research-intensive university, 9 minutes from Brighton, East Sussex. With a campus in constant development, the site offers the opportunity to work on a range of building types from Grade 1 & 2 listed buildings through to cutting edge laboratories. New buildings are also being added to the campus.

They are now recruiting for an experienced Graduate Building Surveyor with strong project management experience to join them in a permanent role as part of their estates team.

Person Specification: Experienced Graduate Building Surveyor – APC

• You will hold a RICS accredited degree in Building Surveying or related subject
• You will have a minimum of 1 years post graduate experience and be progressing towards completion of your APC
• You will have project management experience
• You will be a strong communicator who is capable of working under your own steam

Roles & Responsibilities: Experienced Graduate Building Surveyor – APC

Joining the existing estates team this will be a project management-heavy role working across a portfolio made up of buildings from the 60’s, grade 1&2 listed buildings and new modern buildings.

Projects could range from laboratory refurbishments and office refits to roof and window replacements. The science labs are full research grade laboratories (pathology, chemistry etc).

This is not your typical public sector work environment, it is dynamic and commercial.

Salary & Package: Experienced Graduate Building Surveyor – APC

Our client is happy to offer a salary of up to £35,000 as befits your experience as well as continued APC support.
