Graduate Building Surveyor – Surrey

Boasting a strong track record in complete building consultancy, from Quantity Surveying through to Design and Project Management, this Surrey based practice of Chartered Surveyors is now recruiting for a Graduate Building Surveyor to join their friendly and dynamic practice.

With a strong workload forming a busy 2015, they are currently recruiting for a well-rounded Graduate Building Surveyor to manage refurbishment and new build construction projects.

Person specification:
The successful applicant will be qualified to degree level or equivilent.

You will ideally have some level of work experience and you will be willing to learn and push forward with your development.

You will be proficient in the use of AutoCAD as well as the office, including Excel and Word.

You will be a confident communicator and able to meet and liaise with clients.

Your training will develop skills across all areas and will include mentorship when working towards your APC.

You will have a full UK driving licence.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Measured surveys
• Condition surveys / defect reports
• Design consultancy
• Preparation of feasibility, planning and tender drawings
• Preparation and submital of planning applications
• Preparation of construction issue drawings
• Project management
• Statutory compliance, particularly The Building Regulations 2010 and the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2007

Salary & Package:
This is a Graduate level role and our client will be paying from £20,000-£25,000 to the successful applicant, depending on their background and experience.

Our client will also fund your APC and any professional fees or subscriptions.
