Senior Quantity Surveyor – Buckinghamshire

As part of their continued growth our client is currently recruiting for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their Buckinghamshire office.

Person specification:
The successful applicant will be a Quantity Surveyor with a proven track record at a senior level in a residential developer.

You must have have experience of appraisals and material buying and be capable of critiquing/value engineering, civil and structural engineering solutions.

You will be qualified to HND or degree level.

Role & Responsibilities:
The successful applicant will have experience across the following areas:

• The preparation of Land Viability Appraisals
• The preparation of budgets for the Construction and Sales & Marketing team
• The appointment of sub-contractors & suppliers
• Ownership of timely reporting and being accountable for the cost management for all development costs
• Liaising with all members of the Development team
• Excellent prioritisation and organisation skills are essential – The role is varied and deadline driven
• Self-motivated and pro-active with the ability to meet strict deadlines
  excellent communication skills are essential for this role
• Competent user of MS Office products and databases
• Knowledge of SAGE/SiteStream would be beneficial
